Sam Hunt's single "Take Your Time" first hit country radio in November last year. It climbed all the way to #1 in country radio airplay early in May this year. In what is a relatively unusual move, Capitol Records promoted the song to mainstream pop, adult pop, and adult contemporary radio. "Take Your Time" is currently climbing all of those charts and has been certified platinum for sales.
